Clinical Cancer Research Fund

HCRA is now welcoming applications for infrastructure funding requests to support clinical cancer research.

The aim of the scheme is to support infrastructure needs of clinical oncology research aligned with the vision and objectives of HCRA.

Clinical Cancer Research Infrastructure Grants for a maximum of $10,000 each will be available to HCRA members involved in clinical research to support essential infrastructure including small equipment purchases, service contracts, software and other research tools. The Lead Applicant must be a CMN employee, however, external collaborations are encouraged.

The funding will be allocated on a quarterly basis. Applications may be submitted at any time and will be considered for funding in the next available round.

Interested HCRA members should read the guidelines carefully to ensure eligibility and compliance before emailing the completed application form and supporting documentation to HCRA@newcastle.edu.au

Application process

  • Applications are to be made via the Clinical Cancer Research Fund Application Form, available on the HCRA website.
  • All questions on the application form must be answered and relevant attachments included (e.g. supplier quotes, where appropriate).
  • The application is to be completed electronically and signed by all (including external) researchers involved in the grant. The signed application and all relevant attachments are to be emailed as a PDF file to HCRA@newcastle.edu.au.
